Bio

I am a cybersecurity and IT professional, technical communicator, educator, and multimedia specialist whose career has spanned enterprise technology, international instruction, writing, design, and creative production. I am currently pursuing an M.S. in Leadership and Cybersecurity Operations at the University of San Diego, where I maintain a 4.0 GPA. My multidisciplinary background also includes communications and journalism, cybersecurity networking, technical field service, and advanced scientific writing.

With more than a decade of experience in IT support, systems administration, cloud platforms, and security operations, I have worked with organizations in biotechnology, finance, construction, education, and healthcare. My technical background includes Microsoft 365 and Azure administration, Google Workspace, endpoint security, MFA, EDR, incident response, networking, documentation, and security policy development. Most recently, I have advised Tivic Health on cloud administration, cybersecurity controls, SOPs, onboarding and offboarding procedures, and other operational improvements.

My work is defined by an unusual combination of technical depth and communication skill. I have taught in Tokyo, Vancouver, and North America; developed curricula for learners ranging from children to medical doctors and PhD candidates; authored knowledge-base articles and SOPs; and led instructional sessions for large groups. I have also written, illustrated, designed, and published ambitious long-form works on evolutionary neuroscience, earned honors recognition from Stanford’s Writing in the Sciences program, and contributed writing to a range of publications.

Beyond technology, I bring a long-standing creative practice in graphic design, editorial work, video, audio, photography, and visual storytelling. My portfolio includes nationally recognized editorial work, magazine and brochure design, scientific illustration, campaign media, instructional graphics, and multimedia projects distributed to international audiences. This breadth allows me to translate complex ideas into work that is both intellectually rigorous and accessible.

Across disciplines, my through-line is clear: I help people understand complicated systems, whether those systems are technical, organizational, scientific, or visual. I bring curiosity, precision, and a strong sense of craft to every project I undertake.
